ENTREPRENEURSHIP: REAL SLAY QUEEN SIGHTED ROASTING PLANTAIN IN UMUAHIA STREET (Photos)

In a bid to be self reliant especially at this era of rising unemployment, a young lady who gave her name simply as Jennifer has taken to roasting plantain and yam as a means of survival and to help her dependents.

When on Friday, Abia Breaking News crew bumped across the scene, the gap toothed pretty lady was full of fun and excitement as she attends to her customers. Located along Azikiwe road by Finbarrs road in Umuahia the Abia state capital, her small shop according to neighbours attracts people from far and wide for the local recipe she uses to spice up her sauce, a testimony our crew confirmed.

Jennifer in a brief chat said she resorted to roasting plantain and yam to quell daunting lack and want and to resist the temptation of relying on family members. “I believe in entrepreneurship. I don’t find it fanciful bothering family members for one assistance or the other. I’m sure God in His infinite mercy will elevate me when time comes”, fluent Jennifer told our crew.
