YOUTH COMMITTEE CONGRATULATES BUHARI

The Lagos state steering committee on youths, Directorate of Youth Mobilization of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has described the well-deserved victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 23 election as good for Nigeria’s democracy.

According to the Coordinator, Mr. Kunle Oyewumi, the achievements of the President earned him robust victory in the poll.

Describing President Buhari as a rare statesman, with passion for a prosperous Nigeria, the Coordinator urged other leaders to emulate the worthy qualities of the President,

In a goodwill message signed by Oyewumi, he expressed gratitude to Lagosians especially the youth for their unflinching and unshakable support for President Muhammadu Buhari and other APC candidates across the state.

He said, “the results of the presidential and national assembly elections in Lagos state is not surprising owing the achievements of the federal government.

“The President’s accomplishments will continue to speak for him.

“The APC led federal government has executed more projects across the country than previous administrations.

“As we enter the next level, let us sustain our support for the President and his team”.

The coordinator while congratulating Senators Oluremi Tinubu (Lagos central) and Solomon Yayi (Lagos West) and Senator-elect, Bayo Osinowo (Lagos East), applauded Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for his patriotic role in promoting democracy in Nigeria and beyond, stressing that the future of Nigeria is bright under the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government.

Oyewumi also urged the electorate to vote en-masse for Mr.Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other APC candidates in the March 9 governorship and House of Assembly election in Lagos state.
