[VIDEO] Okorocha replacement for Ojukwu - Imo monarch

The Chairman, Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH Eze Samuel Ohiri has extolled Rochas Okorocha, the immediate past governor of Imo for championing the course of Ndigbo.

Describing the Imo West senator as one of the finest Igbo men he has seen, the royal father said after the death of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Okorocha has stepped in to bring Ndigbo together.

While stating that he has watched Okorocha closely as he articulates ideas that will help Ndigbo move forward, Ohiri said Okorocha as a young man has always risen ahead of others.

He also applauded the former governor for the construction of Igbozurume in Enugu about 15 years ago with his personal resources before he became Imo governor.

According to the traditional ruler, Igbozurume is also a socio-cultural group in Igbo land poised to assisting Ohanaeze Ndigbo to actualise its objectives where such help is needed.
