CULT CLASH:

ABNews reported yesterday about a cult clash in Abia State University Uturu(ABSU),at about 22.50hrs.

A cult group suspected to be Burkinafaso invaded a lodge called Chido lodge along Uturu road and beheaded two male student suspected to be Mafia cult group and made away with their heads. One of the diseased said to be Samuel,suspected to be ABSU student 300Level Political science and the other yet to be identified. The 3rd victim was seriously injured, the right hand fingers, head and chest were stabbed, he was rushed to nearby hospital for treatment. His name is Ummasoro Thankgod, 300Level political science ABSU. The Mafia cult group are suspect to this horrific act.

Meanwhile the attention of the Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University, Professor Uchenna Eleazar Ikonne has been drawn to the ungodly act that happened at Upgate yesterday.
The Vice-Chancellor who visited the seen and it’s environs today advised the students to be security conscious, shun cultism and other illicit act that are not in line with there main aim of coming to school.

He further stress that the university is partially involved in the security of Students staying off-campus and advised them to use the school hostel as the owners of the said off-camp hostels are not interested in their security.
He also assured the students that the military and other Security personnel’s are now alert to eliminate perpetrators of such acts. He also advice them to report any suspected movement, group or individual as it will help the security agencies fight this security threat.
He also re-assured those staying in the school hostel of adequate security as his administration has no other agenda than the welfare of the students.
