Gov Rochas Okorocha today pledged to rebuild the Ohaneze Ndigbo secretariat in Enugu State as a private citizen and not as Imo State Governor. He made this pledge during an inspection of the building with the national executives of the apex Igbo organisation.
Owelle Rochas Okorocha said the unity of Ndigbo is his concern and tasked the organisation to ensure Igbos speak with one voice.
They thanked the governor for interest in the body and intervention at critical moments. They recalled that it was the Imo State Governor that brought peace to the body few months ago in Owerri when they had leadership issues and has again come to the rescue of the organisation by providing a befitting secretariat for them.
