Two members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, (MASSOB) have died in Onitsha, Anambra State in two separate incidents.

In one of the incidents, two policemen attached to Okpoko Police Division Onitsha sustained injuries.

In another bloody clash, another MASSOB member reportedly died after he was beaten to coma at Edeh Road area of the commercial city by a rival group.

An eyewitness told Daily Sun that trouble started when one of the late MASSOB members resisted arrest by the two policemen after a woman lodged an assault report against him.

It was said that rather than submit himself for arrest, he mobilized members numbering about 20 on telephone to the scene, who, upon arrival, allegedly attacked the policemen for arresting the suspect.

On the other hand, it was gathered that a woman complained to another MASSOB member that a rival member assaulted her.
