The APC governorship candidate in Abia state Dr. Uche Sampson Ogah has condoled with the victims of Umuimo and Umuaduru pipeline fire outbreak which claimed many lives on Friday.
In the condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Great Imo Jonathan, Dr. Ogah also called on government agencies involved in the management of disasters in Nigeria to speed up their response and to ensure that survivors are given adequate attention and relief materials provided to their care givers and other families who have been affected.

The early hours of Friday 12th of October, 2018, were tragic hours in the annals of our state history. Over 70 of our brothers and sisters were lost in a disastrous pipeline fire outbreak at Umuimo and Umuadaruru, in Osisioma. It is indeed an incident that breaks the heart.
Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah is pained by this awful incident and will like to use this medium to commiserate with the families of the victims of the inferno.
For him, “this is unfortunate and a heart breaking event that is quite regrettable”
Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah feels the pain of every family affected and he prays for the families affected that God will give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
In addition to that, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah is using this medium to request all the agencies of government involved in the management of disasters in Nigeria to speed up their response and to ensure that survivors are given adequate attention and relief materials provided to their care givers and other families who have been affected. He is asking those with shared responsibility to cater for these victims and others affected to move quickly.
