The Bishop of Aba Diocese, Christian Ugwuzor, has described the All Progressives candidate for Abia South, Chief Sir Marc Wabara as a God fearing man who will not forget the people of God if voted into power. The Bishop made this assertion, last weekend, at Aba during a crusade organised by the church.
Bishop Ugwuzor called on the mammoth crowd that attended the crusade to remember candidates with the fear of God, like Chief Sir Marc Wabara as they cast their votes in the forthcoming general elections.
The Bishop expressed his optimism that Sir Wabara would come back for thanksgiving after his victory at the polls.
Earlier, Sir Marc Inyanagbo Wabara, the APC Abia South Senatorial candidate, who attended the crusade, attributed his emergence as an APC candidate to the wonderful works of the Almighty God. The Senatorial hopeful admonished members of the congregation to put God first in everything they are doing.
Sir Wabara stated that the country was in dire need of people who are committed to the welfare of her citizens, noting that the people of Abia South Senatorial district deserve nothing less than the best from their representatives. He assured them that he would offer great service to the people of Abia South and Nigeria at large through effective representation.
Sir Wabara, a philanthropist, statesman and former bank chief executive, said he attended the crusade organised by the church to seek God’s blessings before kicking off his campaigns for the votes of the people of Abia South in the forthcoming elections that will come up February, next year.
