A pro Buhari group Coalition of South East Youths for Buhari has alleged plans by the Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu to disrupt the campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled to take place on Tuesday in Aba.
In a release signed by the State Coordinator of the group, Izuchi Nwachukwu it said the people it described as criminal entrepreneurs have perfected plans to attend the rally in disguise as APC members chant uncomplimentary songs against President Buhari and the entire APC members at the rally.
The Group also called on security agencies and all Abians to be at alert.

The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has perfected plans in cohort with one Mr. Ebebe, Otawaike Group, OYF( Ochendo Youth Forum), and the Kurutu Women wing of the PDP, in a criminal and undemocratic enterprise, to disrupt the APC Presidential rally slated tomorrow 29/1/19 at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba.
These Criminal entrepreneurs have perfected plans to attend the rally in disguise as APC members, deploy the women to chant uncomplimentary songs against President Buhari and the entire APC members at the rally.
Their plan has been perfected to ignite a grave breach of peace and public order targeted at putting the President/APC Presidential flag bearer and all APC members to ridicule and disrepute.
We hereby bring this alert to the notice of all security agencies and the good people of Abia State to be vigilant and warn the Governor and his cohorts to desist from this unacceptable criminal plan and ensure that they further refrain from conducting themselves in undemocratic practices that may likely constitute a breach of public peace and order.

Meanwhile, in a swift reaction, the Senior Special Adviser to Abia state Governor on Media, Mr Ikechukwu Iroha dispelled the allegation. He said “Was it not state government that approved a stadium for them to use? How can PDP disrupt another party’s rally? Its alien to us. Have parties not been having successful rallies in Abia State under Ikpeazu?” he queried.
