#AbiaDecide: I dedicate my victory to Abians – Ikpeazu

The Abia state Governor elect, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has dedicated his victory at the just concluded Governorship election in the state to the residents of the state.

He thanked them for the mandate given him to serve for another term of four years, assuring that his administration will witness greater development in all fronts.

Speaking shortly after he was declared winner at the Government House in Umuahia, Ikpeazu said his government will bring women and youths empowerment in front burner.

According to him,the various developmental projects lined up by his administration including the Enyimba economic city that will create about 700,000 jobs, the Osisioma flyover among others will become a reality.

He lauded INEC for ensuring that the process was free fair and credible.

He commended Abia youths for remaining peaceful and ensuring that the election was conducted in an atmosphere devoid of rancor and blood- letting.

The Governor used the forum to extend his hands of fellowship to those who lost in the election.

To them I say it is not a loss in absolute sense of the word but it is a call for duty on a higher pedestal for those who indeed love Abia beyond their personal ambition to rise to the occasion and join hands with this government to deliver the best in terms of democracy dividends”.
