Information reaching ABN TV indicates that heavily armed soldiers and policemen on Saturday night allegedly invaded the home of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Umuahia, Abia state.
A younger brother to Nnamdi Kanu, Prince Emmanuel Kanu in a release said he is not aware of the reasons for the invasion by the security agencies.
Nnamdi Kanu had in a post on Saturday pay tribute to those killed in military operations in Umuahia in 2007 by the security forces, saying their blood has watered the seed of Biafra’s freedom.
