The independence that we celebrate today is the Independence of our Republic but beyond that, the independence that we speak is the independence that will allow us express our aspirations, pursue our ambitions, chase our dreams to become who we want to become. Until this independence is done in our various families, we are not yet independent. Until your children become who they want to be, we are not yet independent, until your shelter is provided, we are not yet independent.”

While narrating the rough and tough times he had while growing up in the society, he encouraged the beneficiaries to become who they want to be despite the rigorous process.
