Following erosion menace that has confronted the people of Ebem in Ohafia local government area of Abia state, the traditional rule of the area, Eze U.K Ukoha (JP) has said he is worried about the situation of things in his domain.
In a chat with newsmen, the royal father said his palace is at the mercy of the flood, adding that his people now live in fear.
Eze Ukoha said through the communal efforts of the people, they have helped in enhancing infrastructure in the place, including construction of schools without waiting for the government intervention.
He said the level of flood devastation in the area is beyond what a community can do, appealing to the state and federal government to come to the rescue of the people.
