Our lives in danger, Abia community cries out over invasion by herdsmen

The people of Ubaha in Isialangwa North local government of Abia state have said they currently live in fear over the invasion of their community by people suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.

Presenting the petition of the community at the floor of the Assembly, the Chairman of the Abia State House of Assembly Committee on Public Petitions, Hon. Barr. Emeka Okoroafor, hinted that the Community is worried over the settlement of herders in their Area.

Petition from Ubaha Community in Isialangwa North Local Government Area of the State titled SAVE OUR SOUL over the invasion of their farmlands by some suspected herdsmen.” he said.

The Petitioners urged the House to use their Legislative Powers to stop the menace.
