Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole

Hon. Uko Nkole, the member Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency has declared that the Federal Polytechnic Abiriba, Abia state will go a long way in addressing the inequality against the state as one of the states without a federal polytechnic.

In a chat with ABN TV on Thursday, Nkole said the Bill for the establishment of the polytechnic though has fully passed all the legislative procedures in the 8th Assembly but could not get presidential assent as a result of paucity of time.

He declared that the Bill has been committed to the relevant committee for reconciliation as a matter of procedure and given life for expeditious presidential assent, maintaining that the House sees it as a Bill that will go a long way in addressing some imbalances against the state.
