Osinbajo, Gowon, Okorocha others held spellbound at Festival of Praise in Abuja

It was a night of who is who in Nigeria as the 12th Festival of Praise, Choir and Orchestra took place at International conference center Abuja.

 

Tagged “We Shall Praise Him From Everlasting to Everlasting” the annual event featured some of the best musical performances that stunned the dignitaries that graced the occasion.

The immediate past governor of Imo State, Sen. Rochas Okorocha, who was one of the Special Guests at the festival was especially wowed by the performance of the Royal City Chorale, an Owerri based choral group which was founded and groomed by him during through the Victory Chapel, a government house based non-denominational chapel which he built during his eventful reign as the governor of Imo State.

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, former Military President, General Yakubu Gowon, former Minister of Defence, General T.Y Danjuma, former Senate President, General David Mark, governor of Taraba, Darius Isiaku were among the parade of top Nigerians from all walks of life who joined the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Culture and Tourism to give the Owerri based choral group a well-deserving standing ovation.
